Qualifications

• 3-5 years in treasury management sales or deposit-focused relationship banking with a track record of growth.
• Originating new business via outbound prospecting and consultative selling from first contact to close.
• Working knowledge of treasury and cash management products and services.
• Ability to read financial statements to identify opportunities.
• Experience with CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School diploma or equivalent education; degree could enhance candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close new commercial deposit relationships with emphasis on operating accounts.
• Meet/exceed quarterly and annual goals for net new deposits and treasury services.
• Conduct needs-based discovery and review cash flow and activity to spot opportunities.
• Lead with treasury management solutions to win balances and deepen relationships.
• Prepare proposals and pricing; negotiate within authority and handle exceptions.
• Grow deposits within existing client base and consolidate funds from other institutions.
• Coordinate with BDOs, LOs, and Retail Banking Managers to secure relationships.
• Hand off won clients to onboarding and Treasury Services teams; ensure 90-day balance movement.
• Monitor balances, retention, and attrition; engage clients at risk of rate-shopping.
• Maintain CRM records and provide pipeline/forecast updates to leadership.
• Track market pricing and provide pricing insights to leadership.
