Job summary

Blaze Credit Union is seeking a Deposit Services Manager to lead the Deposit Services Team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service for members. The role oversees deposit procedures, audits, tax reporting, and employee membership requests, while coordinating with internal teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, handle complex member scenarios, and drive process improvements within the department, including data validation for merger initiatives and partner

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field a plus.
• Knowledge of Fiserv DNA Core Banking platform desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations and performance of the Deposit Services team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and professionalism.
• Provide technical expertise on core system and account origination software programs.
• Manage complex member situations, responding effectively under pressure.
• Maintain and update processes and procedures to ensure consistent service and compliance with policies.
• Provide process and procedure support to branches and Member Experience Center, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions to inquiries.
• Support retirement account operations, processes, procedures, QA and training.
• Identify and address data discrepancies at member and deposit account levels.
• Fulfill periodic audit requests, ensuring timely submission of required docs.
• Proactively assess risks and recommend operations improvements to Director of Deposit Services.
• Foster relationships with internal units to support goals.
• Manage data validation for deposit-related merger initiatives, ensuring continuity and compliance.
• Oversee Employee Branch and employee membership requests.
