Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitors and replies to Account Services and Electronic Banking emails and service events.
• Responds to client questions and conducts research for consumers and commercial clients.
• Reports on CIF, new accounts, CDs, closed accounts, and other items as needed.
• Processes non-post items, overdrafts and deposit item returns.
• Handles entries and balances general ledger accounts; processes wire transfers and ACH files.
• Sets up on-line banking and maintenance requests; assists with debit cards.

DEPOSIT OPERATIONS / ELECTRONICBANKING SPECIALIST I

Summary

Responsible for providing operational support to external clients and internal departments of the

Bank to include: Retail, Commercial, and Association Banking. Specialist will be cross trained

to support by Account Services and Electronic Banking.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Monitors and works “Account Services” and “Electronic Banking” emails and “service events”;
• Responds to client support questions and conducts research for consumers and commercial clients;
• Report monitoring to include: CIF, new accounts, CDs, closed accounts, fee waivers, large items, and others as needed;
• Works with and processes non-post items, overdraft items and deposit item returns;
• Processes entries and balances general ledger accounts, assists with buying and selling foreign currency as well as foreign collection items, and other products and services as needed;
• Processes lockbox and other client services;
• Scans and indexes client documents;
• Processes incoming/outgoing wire transfers and ACH files;
• Processes on-line banking set-ups and maintenance requests;
• Assists with processing debit cards;
• Remain current and adhere to all regulatory requirements and training;
• Additional duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1+ years banking experience.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Previous wire transfer processing experience required;
• Demonstrates understanding of Bank policies and procedures to correctly assist/guide internal clients;
• Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Capable of multi-tasking as needed;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with different types of banking software;
• Position will require flexible hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
