Job summary

Choiceone-Bank in Michigan is seeking a Deposit Operations Analyst to support daily deposit tasks and respond to customer inquiries. This non-exempt role reports to the AVP Deposit Operations Manager and requires accuracy in handling data, wires, holds, and image retrieval.

You will assist staff, suggest procedural improvements, and ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and related regulations, working on-site in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues.
• Familiarity with data processing and banking operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience handling regulatory requirements is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by answering inquiries and solving account-related problems.
• Review holds, stop payments, wires, and data processing tasks.
• Process garnishments and levy requests; monitor mail.
• Back up other Operations staff as needed.
• Recommend procedural improvements to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act and report any concerns.
• Adhere to federal and state banking regulations.
