Symicor Group, a boutique talent acquisition firm based in Illinois, seeks a Deposit Operations Manager for a bank client in Elk Grove Village. The role oversees all check and deposit processing, ACH, ATM and lockbox operations, with a salary up to $100K and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a non-remote, on-site role. The successful candidate will lead a Retail Operations team, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with multiple bank departments to provide accurate, timely

Formación

• A college degree in a business-related or technical field is preferred or a HS diploma/ GED.
• Ten+ years of banking (retail) or related experience with supervisory/management skills.
• Working knowledge of fundamental bank compliance topics.
• Demonstrated logical judgment, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize across multiple topics.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the check and deposit account processing function, including check payments, deposited items, ACH, overdrafts and return items, ATM and debit card settlement, statement rendering, and related reconciliation.
• Manage lockbox remittance processing and the proof department function, including customer setup and monthly billing.
• Prepare monthly statistical control reports for account reconciliation, ATM, debit card and lockbox profitability.
• Resolve customer issues related to deposit and lockbox exceptions or errors.
• Oversee the Bank’s customer Masterfile records.
• Manage due from the bank, official check, currency vault, ATM/debit card settlement, Internet Banking, and GL balancing packages.
• Manage the imaging of deposit account documents and forms; deposit account research and adjustment activities.
• Lead Retail Operations team including coaching, mentoring, employee development, training and performance management.
• Coordinate with other bank areas to ensure efficient deposit account management.
