Job summary

The Symicor Group is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist for our client in Oak Brook, IL. The role focuses on ensuring frontline staff have the tools to assist customers, follow regulations, and implement procedures accurately.

Responsibilities include processing debit card disputes, managing ACH tasks, overdraft handling, fraud checks on checks, and performing daily balancing and reconciliation across bank GLs. The position is on-site with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Two years of Bank Operations, Debit Card processing, or related experience.
• Familiar with federal guidelines and compliance regulations.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process debit card disputes, fraud notifications, and lost/stolen alerts.
• Support daily ACH processes, including setting up ACH files and prenotes.
• Manage overdrafts and communicate with account officers when needed.
• Process incoming return items and review checks for potential fraud.
• Review holds and perform reconciliations across bank GLs and DDAs.
• Monitor Positive Pay decisions and process returns as required.
• Perform other Deposit Operations duties as assigned.
