Job summary

Metro Credit Union in Massachusetts seeks a strategic Deposit Operations Manager to lead critical deposit and payment operations and advance automation and AI-enabled capabilities. You will oversee daily processing, strengthen controls, and collaborate across the organization to improve efficiency, service quality, and risk management.

The role reports to the VP, Operations and focuses on developing people, modernizing platforms, and reducing operational risk while enhancing member experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
• 7+ years leading Deposit Operations in a financial institution.
• Proven experience managing high-volume teams and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of ACH/NACHA rules, Regulation E/CC, wires, checks, and risk controls.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory examinations.
• Proven success with process improvement and operational-change initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Preferred: Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification.
• Preferred: automation or AI-enabled process experience.
