Metro Credit Union is seeking a strategic and hands-on Deposit Operations Manager to lead critical deposit and payment operations, modernize processes, and foster a high-performing team. The role reports to the VP of Operations and focuses on delivering safe, reliable member experiences.

You will oversee daily deposit operations, implement AI-enabled solutions, and collaborate across Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Product teams to reduce risk, improve service levels, and support platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 7 years of experience leading Deposit Operations within a financial institution.
• Proven experience managing high‑volume operational teams and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of ACH and NACHA rules, Regulation E and Regulation CC requirements, wire transfer operations, check processing and exception management, and operational risk controls and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, examinations, and operational control environments.
• Demonstrated success leading process‑improvement and operational‑change initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a high‑performing Deposit Operations team with coaching and accountability.
• Oversee daily deposit operations, ensuring accurate processing of ACH, wires, checks, and related activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation, leveraging AI‑driven tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Strengthen risk and compliance controls and collaborate with risk, compliance, audit, and fraud teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, platform implementations, testing, and change readiness.
