Job summary

CLCB Search is seeking an executive leader to head the Deposit and Payment Operations function, driving end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance across the organization’s deposit and payment lifecycle.

You will oversee a geographically dispersed team across card, check, ACH, wire (domestic and international), FX, lockbox, item processing, and reconciliations, ensuring risk management, resiliency and strong client experience.

Job description

Lead the Deposit and Payment Operations function as an executive leader responsible for end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance across the organization’s deposit and payment lifecycle. This role encompasses core deposit and payment operations across multiple banking lines, including legacy operations, and is accountable for delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement of critical banking services.

Oversee a geographically dispersed team and complex operating model spanning a wide range of payment and deposit activities, including card, check, ACH, wire (domestic and international), FX operations, lockbox, item processing, reconciliation, and related services. Drive enterprise payments transformation focused on simplifying and modernizing the payments ecosystem across wire, ACH, RTP, and emerging rails, while ensuring operational scalability, resiliency, and strong client experience.

Chair relevant enterprise payments risk governance and help maintain a strong first-line risk and control environment for deposit and payment activities. Define and execute a holistic operations strategy aligned to enterprise priorities, support platform integration and optimization (including acquired and legacy capabilities), and partner across product, technology, risk, finance, and business lines to enable modernization and future-ready money movement, including emerging technologies such as blockchain, stablecoins, and tokenized deposits.
