Job summary

Truist in Atlanta seeks an experienced professional to ensure compliance with personal deposit regulations and to strengthen the operating model in a single business line. Lead project work including issue identification, risk oversight, and process optimization across deposits and related products.

You will support governance activities, manage production incidents, and drive remediation of risks with internal teams, collaborating across functions to achieve client and shareholder objectives.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Seven years of financial services work related experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Experience organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data with oversight.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at the required level.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all relevant personal deposit regulations and provide support to strengthen the operating model across a single business line or a single function. Leverage a working knowledge of the deposit system to lead projects including issue identification and analysis, risk and control identification and oversight, risk program execution and oversight, and process optimization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support specific governance and integration activities within consumer and small business deposits and debit card ensuring a successful integration.

2. Manage deposit related issues that arise through issues management or production incidents to resolution.

3. Manage the mitigation/resolution of potential low complexity business risks associated with consumer and small business deposit products or processes by working with internal teams on root cause analysis; identify short-term and long-term action items for resolution and remediation of the issue.

4. Utilize understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and the associated risks/controls to support the overall business objectives.

5. Working knowledge of deposit banking systems that support the product lifecycle management.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional leaders to drive effective outcomes for clients, teammates, and shareholders.

7. Execute and oversee risk governance activities across established risk programs, including RCSAs, Products and Services, Models and End User Computing Tools, and Policies and Procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory, enterprise, and program requirements.
