Job summary

Truist is seeking a dependable mail/printing operator for the 3rd shift in the United States. The role focuses on accurate processing of client and bank-related correspondence using automated equipment, meeting deadlines while mitigating risk and protecting client confidentiality.

Responsibilities include quality checks, reprints, logs, and cross-training across equipment. Requires a high school diploma and 5 years in the department, with strong problem-solving and computer skills to operate

Responsibilities

  • Independently process client mailings using automated equipment operational guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on client mailings, documents and envelopes.
  • Reconcile diverted and damaged pieces and perform reprint when needed.
  • Complete and maintain required logs and dual control forms accurately.
  • Communicate with management on inventory, deadlines, and issues.
  • Cross trained on multiple functions/equipment and perform with minimal assistance.
  • Prioritize work based on service levels and volume.
  • Assist in validating and updating procedures as needed.
  • Fix minor equipment issues to maintain operation.

Responsible for accurate and efficient printing and processing of internal and external client and bank-related correspondence while ensuring deadlines are met and efficient operations are maintained on automated processing equipment. Diligently work to mitigate risk exposure and protect client confidentially while ensuring compliance with the Truist Information Security standards.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Independently process client mailings using a variety of automated equipment while following guidelines and requirements in order to be in compliance, maximize discounts and optimize service.
  • Perform quality checks on client mailings, documents and envelopes on a routine basis according to documented procedures.
  • Reconcile diverted and damaged pieces. Research out-of-balance pieces and implement appropriate corrective action. Ability to perform the reprint function for any application.
  • Complete and maintain with accuracy any documentation for any required logs, dual control tasks and forms.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with Management on topics such as inventory, meeting deadlines, reporting and escalating potential production or quality issues and recommendations on improvements.
  • Cross trained on multiple functions/equipment within the department and can perform with limited to no assistance.
  • Prioritize the processing of work based on knowledge (service level agreements, volume, etc.)
  • Assist on validating and updating procedures when needed.
  • Fix minor issues with the equipment to keep it functioning.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent education and related training.
  • 5 years of experience with in the department
  • Ability to work in an area governed by production standards and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
  • Effective problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
