Job summary

Promise is seeking a Deployment Strategist to own real-world outcomes with government and utility customers. You will ensure strong customer relationships, deep problem solving, and disciplined execution across teams to drive outcomes and growth.

The role blends delivery and strategic thinking, requiring comfort with ambiguity and travel as needed. You will collaborate with engineers and product teams to translate field insights into improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years in a role delivering outcomes, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or govtech.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and build things without being told.
• Genuine likability and strong communication.
• Comfort with budgets and account economics to inform decisions.
• Willingness to travel and be onsite as part of the role.
• You want to go deep on deployment and customer impact, not a stepping stone.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer relationship end to end from implementation through renewal and expansion.
• Read the room to identify influencers, blockers, and how to move projects forward technically and politically.
• Delve into customer data and operations to understand their business deeply.
• Partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers on delivery and innovation.
• Drive revenue growth by explaining account health in financial terms.
• Run projects with discipline, tracking milestones and avoiding slippage.
• Surface field observations to influence product with real customer signal.
