Job description

At its core, the Deployment Strategist role is about turning data into real-world action. Our client partners with organizations that know better use of data is critical — whether that means protecting people on the ground, improving operational efficiency, delivering better healthcare outcomes, or enabling smarter decision-making at scale.

Deployment Strategists help turn that belief into reality.

If you believe in the transformational power of data and technology — and in your own ability to apply it to complex, high-impact problems — this is a role where you can make a tangible difference.

What You’ll Do

As a Deployment Strategist, you’ll work alongside a driven and collaborative team of engineers, product designers, and fellow strategists to deploy software against some of the most challenging problems organizations face today.

Your mission is to synthesize complex, often disconnected inputs — data, workflows, user needs, and product capabilities — into a clear understanding of:

  • What the most important problem is
  • What the data is really saying
  • What the product needs to deliver
  • Where meaningful impact can be achieved

This is a hands-on role for people who enjoy immersing themselves in customer environments, understanding intricate workflows, and translating insight into scalable solutions.

No two days are the same, but you can expect to:

  • Go onsite and work closely with customer analysts and stakeholders to understand critical questions and pain points
  • Identify and assess relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer workflows
  • Partner with engineers to integrate data into stable, extensible pipelines
  • Design and build bespoke workflows for new user groups
  • Lead training sessions to ensure the product is adopted, understood, and driving real impact
  • Present results and future recommendations to audiences ranging from analysts to senior leadership
  • Feed real-world insights back into product and engineering teams to shape future offerings
  • Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers
  • Help scope potential engagements across new industries and geographies
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who aren’t satisfied with surface-level answers — people who want to dig into the data, understand the nuance, and focus on outcomes over credit.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • An exceptional ability to tackle open-ended problems in unstructured environments
  • A curious, analytical mindset with strong user empathy
  • The adaptability to learn, teach, lead, and follow as needed
  • Low ego and a strong sense of ownership
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
Nice to have:
  • Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, MATLAB)
  • Background in logistics, operations, supply chain, aviation, readiness, or similar analytical domains
