Deployment Ops Lead: Utility Partnerships

Job summary

Base is seeking a Deployment Operations Specialist to support deployment operations as we launch partnerships with new utilities. You will manage the pipeline, scheduling, interconnection, and be the day-to-day contact for utility partners as we bring markets online.

The role focuses on coordinating handoffs, tracking PTO progress, building dashboards, and removing blockers. You will work across Deployments, Field Ops, and Partnerships to move deals from signed to PTO.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in operations, program management, or partnerships roles with multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with utilities or interconnection agreements is a plus.
• Comfortable using a CRM as the system of record.
• Strong written communicator able to draft partner-facing emails.
• Track record of removing process bottlenecks with external partners.
• Organized and able to manage dozens of deals and approvals.
• Experience in energy, utilities, construction, or field services operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily pipeline health across partner queues and keep CRM up to date.
• Coordinate handoffs between field teams and partners to maintain install quotas.
• Support interconnection agreement processes end-to-end to PTO.
• Serve as primary contact with utility partners for interconnection and inspections.
• Build relationships with utility reps across markets to stay ahead of changes.
• Create weekly install, commissioning, and pipeline performance dashboards.
• Coordinate with Deployments, Field Ops, and Partnerships to surface blockers.
