Job summary

Base is seeking a Deployment Engineer to define the deployment parameters for batteries with regulated utilities, stand up deployment operations, and serve as the day-to-day technical contact for utility partners to bring new markets online.

You will build the internal systems and processes to deploy thousands of batteries, manage partner queues, and coordinate with field teams to keep install quotas and service quality high as Base scales its utility partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations, program management, or partnerships roles with cross-functional work.
• Experience in energy, utilities, construction, or field services operations is a plus.
• Hands-on with mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Define deployment operations and scale partnerships.
• Act as primary point of contact for utility partners on deployment topics.
• Build data collection systems to drive process improvements.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues to minimize disruption.
• Develop operational foundations and pipeline automation for new partnerships.
• Coordinate handoffs between field teams and partners to meet install quotas.
• Run deployment feasibility studies for new utility regions.
• Collaborate with utility teams to define workable operational requirements.
