Job summary

A specialized communication solutions provider is seeking a Deployment Manager to lead implementation efforts for mission-critical solutions. Key Tasks

• Oversee the development of the Site Implementation Management Plan (SIMP)
• Co‑chair working groups, conferences, and technical interchange meetings relevant to system implementation
• Develop implementation processes and workflows
• Develop and monitor the execution of implementation schedules
• Review implementation‑related deliverables (e.g., Site Survey Reports, Site Installation Plans) to ensure they meet contractual requirements
• Assign task responsibilities to contractor personnel supporting implementation activities
• Ensure that the contractor meets system delivery and implementation commitments
• Lead the implementation portion of the contractor's quarterly program reviews
• Identify, assess, and minimize implementation risks

Key Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in installing, integrating, and maintaining end‑user telecommunications equipment
• Ability to work independently and communicate progress/issues to appropriate personnel effectively
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non‑technical management and staff, as well as customer management and staff
• Understanding of schematic and engineering drawings
• Understanding of government installation and acceptance processes and requirements
• Knowledge of basic PC hardware and software
