Sierra Nevada Corporation in Clovis, NM is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Manager I to oversee scheduled maintenance, budgeting, and safety for a deployable fleet. You will lead teams, ensure airworthiness, and maintain meticulous records across DoD/OConUS assignments.

The role requires a strong regulatory background, A&P certification, and the ability to deploy for extended periods. Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 7+ years of aviation experience or 11 years without a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 7+ years aviation experience, or 11 years without degree.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge (FAA/EASA).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance and repair to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Monitor budgets and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Deploy for extended periods to OCONUS locations as required.
