Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise day-to-day operations across store departments.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Lead staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Promote succession planning and development paths.
• Handle disciplinary actions and recommendations for termination.
• Manage P&L, sales targets, and shrink control.
• Deliver exceptional, fast, friendly customer service.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
• Ensure staff training and store standards are followed.
• Spend most time in-store engaging with customers and team members.
• Promote a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
