About the Role

As a Department Supervisor, you will support the store's sales and profit goals by executing plans to deliver the best customer experience in your department and the overall store. You will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet customer and colleague expectations.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but typical responsibilities include:

  1. Customer Sales & Profit
  2. Supporting the omni-channel customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to guidelines.
  3. Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
  4. Identifying and acting on commercial opportunities with your Department Manager.
  5. Providing excellent customer service and promoting products, loyalty app, and sustainability initiatives.
  6. Managing fitting room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
  7. Handling administrative routines for people and operations.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

  • Staying updated on fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
  • Ensuring your team shares product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.

Team & Development

  • Sharing knowledge and skills with the team.
  • Collaborating with visual merchandisers.
  • Providing and receiving feedback to support development.
  • Communicating regularly to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Following procedures, routines, and legal requirements.

Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution

  • Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom.
  • Ensuring high-quality visual presentation and garment care.
  • Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation.
  • Overseeing the full garment cycle and fitting room routines.
  • Utilizing in-store technology and services according to standards.
  • Maintaining accurate price signage and store information.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store daily.

Compensation: $20.65-$24.37 hourly
