Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner consistent with company values.
• Demonstrate understanding of safe lifting procedures.
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Ensure department merchandising, pricing and organization.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct processing of merchandise to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing.
• Greet customers and assist with questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Follow cash/payment procedures and answer phones.
• Stock and tag displays; create price tags and signs.
