Responsibilities

• Lead the store as Manager on Duty and coach team members.
• Own assigned department or business function and ensure expectations are met.
• Monitor results within the area and partner with management on solutions.
• Train and coach team members on procedures related to the area of responsibility.
• Reinforce expectations for neighbor service, teamwork, productivity, and professionalism.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash controls, deposits, and back-office responsibilities.
• Support daily stocking, inventory accuracy, price changes, animal care, and store readiness.
• Maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, security, and store conditions.
• Communicate performance, staffing, operational, and safety concerns to store management.
• Support additional store priorities as directed by leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
