This position is for a management role at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee that licenses the McDonald’s brand. Employees will be hired and treated as employees of the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.

Description

The Department Manager leads a specific department (Guest Service, Kitchen, or People) within the restaurant to ensure high-quality service, food safety, and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Managers lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Some managers oversee department systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• The Guest Service Department Manager:
• Ensures crew and managers deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversees sales promotions and service procedures.
• Maintains organization of the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas.
• The Kitchen Department Manager:
• Ensures quality and speed of food delivery.
• Maintains food safety and food‑cost controls.
• Trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
• The People Department Manager:
• Hires, trains, and schedules crew to meet sales and profit goals.
• Provides recognition and motivation to crew.
