Job summary

Forman Mills is seeking a Department Lead in the Receiving department. You will ensure merchandise presentation, pricing accuracy, and inventory integrity while delivering a courteous, fast, and friendly shopping experience. You may assist other store areas as directed by management.

The role requires training team members, coordinating with receiving for hot items, and maintaining safe floor moves. Availability for varied hours including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Math, ability to count money and give accurate change.
• Excellent People Skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and thanking customers.
• Train and develop all team members in the department.
• Manage merchandise presentation as directed by management.
• Verify pricing and signage on fixtures.
• Ensure floor plans and moves are executed safely.
• Stock new freight within 24 hours of receipt.
• Communicate priorities with receiving and management.
• Report theft or dishonest behavior to loss prevention.
• Communicate tasks to department staff and management.
