Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of business management, administrative support experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be well organized, have attention to detail, a history of performing quality work and have history of meeting deadlines.
Must be proficient in tracking and reporting project timelines and milestones.
Intermediate level in computer program proficiency and ability to learn new technology quickly.
Experience with Workday, NTracks, and Gus, knowledge and understanding of UAMS’ policies and practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills (non-verbal, verbal, & written), and organizational skills, perform independently, work with diverse backgrounds and management styles.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate business functions, including purchasing, accounts payable, travel processing, budget tracking, financial reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
Serve as the main point of contact for the Dean’s Office: greet visitors, manage phone lines, process mail, validate parking, and submit campus work orders.
Support the planning and execution of student-focused events such as White Coat Ceremony, Graduation, Orientation, and recruiting events by preparing purchase requests, authorizations, and contracts.
Provide onboarding and training support for new student workers and ambassadors.
Ensure compliance with UAMS and state travel policies, assist with travel arrangements, reimbursement processing, and travel-related expense tracking.
Manage inventory and office supplies, oversee equipment orders, and ensure availability of materials for student screenings.
Perform financial reviews of cost centers, reconcile budgets, and identify variances.
Maintain scheduling for meetings and coordinate room reservations.
Other duties as assigned.
