Position Summary:

A Business Process Coordinator examines and enhances business processes to boost efficiency, pinpoint bottlenecks, and implement solutions, leverages data analysis, basic statistics,and process improvement techniques. This collaborator serves as a crucial link between cross-functional teams and IT, understanding business needs to design process diagrams, recommend process improvements, and support the business users on how to maintain them in the Business Process Tool.

This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Sr. Business Process Manager.

What you will do:

  • Enhance productivity and quality of existing business processes by identifying pre/post-KPIs and metrics, to measure process improvements
  • Build consensus with stakeholders on improvement recommendations and obtain approval for final process changes
  • Actively monitor processes in the modeling tool to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and safety improvements
  • Contribute to adding business processes in the process modeling tool
  • Create presentations that disclose process improvement recommendations with data-driven evidence
  • Ensure the Compliance Department is included in all external-facing process change recommendations
  • Receive coaching and mentoring from Business Process Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in related experience in Business Consultant,and/or Business Analyst roles
  • Certifications Preferred
    • Lean Six Sigma, Certified Management Consultant through the Institute of Management Consultants, Certified Business Analysis Professional, Certified Business Process Analysis Professional, Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Process Design Engineer.
  • Technical Proficiency in process mapping, basic data analysis and modeling tools, basic statistical analysis awareness, along with strong problem-solving and communication abilities required.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards & Quality Management Systems
  • Familiarity with BPMN Diagramming Standards
  • Familiarity with process improvement tools and methodologies desired such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create high-quality results-driven,team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with analyzing large data sets, research and design.
  • Strong attention to detail but able to summarize the big picture, able to traverse between varying levels of detail
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Self-motivated attitude and desire to see things through
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships across departments
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 33%); will include some overnight travel. Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams), and MS Visio, Lucid Charts(or equivalent)

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

  • Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)
  • Keyboarding (40-60%)
  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (95-100%)

Work Environment:

100% Remote: Work environment is at home.

Compensation:
