Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant in Denver, hybrid schedule, to support the integrity of financial records and assist with month-end close and reporting. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial outcomes and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, a solid understanding of GAAP, and strong Excel skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a High School Diploma or equivalent required as a baseline

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability and interest to learn, adopt, and leverage new tools and technology to enhance accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries to support accurate month-end close.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Perform month-end account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with preparation of internal financial statements and management reports.
• Support regulatory reporting and required filings.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable processing and reconciliations as needed.
• Participate in special projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and operations teams to support accurate financial outcomes.
