Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries to support accurate month-end close.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Perform month-end account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with preparation of internal financial statements and management reports.
• Support regulatory reporting and required filings.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests, including preparation of schedules.
