Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Healthcare, Mechanical Engineering leader in Denver to shape and grow the healthcare engineering practice. You will lead mechanical teams on complex projects, manage client relationships, and drive technical excellence across disciplines.

You will mentor teams, contribute to project delivery standards, and support workload planning while strengthening Stantec’s position as a trusted healthcare design partner in the Mountain region.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience leading healthcare mechanical engineering projects.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Exceptional client relationship skills with a consultative approach.
PE license required; LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of healthcare mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, medical gas).
Grow the healthcare engineering practice in the Denver/Mountain region.
Drive business development and client pursuits to win new work.
Mentor engineers and project leaders to maintain technical excellence and quality.
