Redmond Modern Dentistry is hiring a Specialty Healthcare Coordinator (SHC) in Redmond, WA. The SHC partners with Specialists to secure patient treatment commitments and educate patients on financial options while maintaining a Perfect Patient Experience.

The role focuses on proactive scheduling, patient education, and cross-team communication to keep specialty days smooth and productive, ensuring excellent patient care and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Travel may be required between offices.
• Preferred: courses or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.

Responsibilities

• Gain a financial commitment from the patient to start treated as diagnosed by the Specialist.
• Proactively manage Specialists’ schedules to keep days productive.
• Achieve proficiency in PDS system and tools to aid patient decisions.
• Act as liaison for office and specialty teams; coordinate communications and follow-ups.
• Understand and present financial options to fit patient budgets.
• Overcome objections to starting treatment before appointments.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations for patients.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings; track key metrics.
