Indian Health Service in Crow Agency, MT is seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care and manage complex cases within a multidisciplinary team, advancing health equity for American Indian communities.

The position requires a DDS/DMD, licensure, and the ability to coordinate care with medical providers, maintain records, and participate in quality assurance and program operations.

Qualificações

• Experience providing restorative, diagnostic and preventive dental services.
• Ability to evaluate and manage complex dental conditions and coordinate with medical providers.
• Ability to deliver patient education and preventive care, addressing diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs.
• Ability to provide consultation and guidance to healthcare staff on dental health.
• Must obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges and licensure as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative, endodontic, periodontic, prosthodontic, oral surgery and emergency services.
• Independently evaluate and manage complex dental conditions and coordinate care with medical providers for medically complex patients.
• Deliver patient education and preventive care, explaining options, risks and post-treatment care.
• Provide guidance to healthcare providers and dental staff on dental health issues and their impact on overall health.
• Maintain clinical records, participate in quality improvement and infection control activities, and support program operations and committees.
