Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a dentist to provide dental services to inmate patients within the assigned facility. You will maintain documentation and ensure compliance with contracts and billing for services rendered.

The role requires graduation from an accredited dental school, current state licensure, and CPR certification. Prior general dentistry experience is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth within a mission-driven healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
• One year of general dentistry experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist in the state of employment.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
• Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
• Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinically appropriate recommendations.
• Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
• Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members.
