Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions in Maine is seeking a licensed dentist to provide dental services to inmate patients within the assigned institution, adhering to security regulations. You will maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with client contracts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
• One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provides dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
• Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
• Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinically appropriate recommendations.
• Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
• Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members.
