The Indian Health Service in Mobridge, SD is seeking a dedicated Dentist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care within a multidisciplinary team, advancing health equity for American Indian communities.

You will perform exams, diagnose, plan treatments, and manage complex cases while educating patients and coordinating with medical providers. A valid dental license and IHS privileging will be required.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active dental license to practice in South Dakota.
• Experience in comprehensive dental care and complex cases.
• Ability to coordinate with medical providers and educate patients.

Responsabilités

• Provides comprehensive dental care, including exams, diagnosis, planning, and a broad range of procedures.
• Independently evaluates and manages complex conditions and coordinates with medical providers.
• Delivers patient education and preventive care, addressing diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs.
• Provides consultation to healthcare providers and staff on dental health and overall patient health.
• Maintains records, engages in quality improvement, infection control, and program planning.
