Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care within a multidisciplinary team. You will handle exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, and a wide range of procedures to support American Indian communities.

The role requires coordination with medical colleagues for patients with complex health needs. You will educate patients on treatment options, risks, and post-treatment care while maintaining detailed medical records and adhering to infection

Qualifications

• D.D.S./D.M.D. degree required and licensure to practice dentistry in the U.S.
• Experience in hospital or multidisciplinary settings preferred.
• Ability to manage complex dental cases and provide patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, diagnosis, treatment planning.
• Perform restorative procedures, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery.
• Coordinate care with medical providers for complex patients.
• Educate patients on options, risks, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain records, support infection control, and participate in quality improvement.
