42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to oversee the full clinical patient experience, from exam to treatment plan delivery. The role includes in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong patient flow.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore patients’ oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethical professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
