Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our Boston-area practice. The Dentist will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment delivery, with in-office access to periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes disease prevention, patient education, and collaboration with our network of Doctors, with ongoing continuing education and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
Active state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance and current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention
Diagnose oral diseases
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
Create and review treatment plans with patients
Review and maintain medical and dental records
Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
Provide restorative and preventive dental care
Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism
Keep up with new developments and continuing education
