Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our Boston-area practice. You will lead the patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery, with in-office access to periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

As part of a collaborative network, you will provide comprehensive care, educate patients on options, and develop treatment plans while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on dental health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
