Job summary

42 North Dental, founded to advance dental care, is seeking a Dentist to manage the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes comprehensive care, education, and collaboration within a network of Doctors. Candidates must hold a DMD or DDS, current license to practice in the state, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental program accredited by CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism; pursue ongoing professional development.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
