Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to lead the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care at our Michigan clinic. In-office services include restorative, endodontic, periodontic, and surgical procedures.

The Dentist will promote oral health, educate patients, and create treatment plans while maintaining high ethical standards. Excellent mentorship and a collaborative network are provided.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
