Job summary

42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead the full patient care experience from exam to treatment delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited dental education program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Evidence of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and best practices through continuing education.
