Job summary

42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning through delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, and maintain records while upholding high ethical standards and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented; malpractice insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education
