Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a Dentist for a part-time role. You will manage the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The schedule is Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day, with two Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM. Benefits are available for eligible staff, including health, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
