Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a Dentist to work in western Michigan (Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids area) on a part-time or full-time basis (2-4 days per week). The role offers a $1,000 daily base rate, mileage reimbursement, and a full support team including a dental assistant and administrative staff.

The Dentist will provide general dentistry to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities, with mobile treatment requiring daily travel to sites.

Qualifications

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. required.
• State professional license.
• Valid driver's license.
• Dentistry background with proficiency in assessment and treatment.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine, preventative examinations and oral cancer screenings.
• Performs routine extractions and fillings.
• Performs denture fabrications, relines, and repairs.
• Performs restorative services including crowns and bridges.
• Provides cleanings and x-rays.
• Provides emergency services.
• Maintain a monthly average of 20 patients per day.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in EMR.
• Mobile treatment requires daily travel to facilities.
