Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a Dentist to provide on-site general dentistry services to residents in nursing homes, assisted living, and long-term care facilities across eastern Wisconsin, including Green Bay, Appleton, and Fond du Lac areas.

The role offers flexible scheduling (2–5 days per week) with no evenings or weekends, a base rate of $1,000 per day, and an established patient base. A dental assistant, 100% malpractice coverage, and full administrative support are provided.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in dental care assessment, treatment and management.
• Ability to work with an assistant or independently.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to use email, internet and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry services to residents of nursing homes and facilities.
• Perform routine examinations and oral cancer screenings.
• Perform extractions and fillings.
• Fabricate, relines, and repair dentures.
• Provide restorative services including crowns and bridges.
• Provide cleanings and x-rays.
• Provide emergency services.
• Maintain a monthly average of 20 patients per day.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our EMR.
• Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities for mobile treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Provides routine, preventative examinations and oral cancer screenings
• Performs routine extractions and fillings
• Performs denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
• Performs restorative dental services including crowns and bridges
• Provides cleanings and x-rays
• Provides emergency services
• Dentists are expected to maintain a monthly average of 20 patients per day
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Dentistry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of dental care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an assistant or independently if necessary.
