Job summary

HealthDrive in eastern Wisconsin seeks a Dentist to join our on-site team in nursing facilities and long-term care. Part-time or full-time (2–5 days per week) with a $1,000 daily base rate and no evening or weekend hours.

You will provide general dentistry, maintain about 20 patients daily, travel to facilities, and work with a dedicated admin and EMR system; a full benefits package is available with higher weekly schedules.

Qualifications

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Dentistry background with proficiency in assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of dental care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an assistant or independently.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, internet and to learn healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine, preventative examinations and oral cancer screenings.
• Performs routine extractions and fillings.
• Performs denture fabrications, relines, and repairs.
• Performs restorative dental services including crowns and bridges.
• Provides cleanings and x-rays.
• Provides emergency services.
• Maintains a monthly average of 20 patients per day.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in EMR.
• Mobile model treatment requiring daily travel to facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
