Qualifications

• Previous dental front office or treatment coordinator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans, claims, and benefit breakdowns.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and CDT codes.
• Experience with Open Dental preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, positive, and compassionate attitude.
• Multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Ability to discuss finances confidently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Present treatment plans and explain recommended dental procedures to patients.
• Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, frequencies, limitations, and remaining maximums.
• Provide accurate treatment estimates and review financial arrangements with patients.
• Submit and follow up on pre-authorizations and insurance claims when needed.
• Coordinate scheduling for treatment appointments.
• Answer patient questions regarding insurance coverage, financing, and treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and insurance information in practice management software.
• Follow up with unscheduled treatment and outstanding balances.
• Work closely with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and case acceptance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships.
