Job summary

Comprehensive Periodontics & Dental Implants is seeking a Dental Treatment Coordinator to manage patient flow, treatment planning, and financial coordination across Paso Robles, Santa Maria/Orcutt, and San Luis Obispo. You will liaison with referring offices, doctors, and the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient experience from the initial call through treatment and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and referring dental offices.
• Communicate warmly and professionally with patients.
• Coordinate patient care from initial referral through consultation, treatment, and follow-up.
• Present treatment plans clearly and explain fees, sequencing, and next steps.
• Answer questions and address concerns to prevent delays in treatment.
• Schedule appointments, treatment phases, and coordinate among patients, doctors, and staff.
• Manage the appointment calendar to support efficient patient flow and practice goals.
• Ensure all records, referrals, radiographs, and medical information are obtained prior to appointments.
• Assist patients with scheduling, payments, insurance questions, and policy details.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate patient accounts and records.
• Maintain detailed and professional documentation in patient records.
• Support front-office operations (phones, greetings, scheduling, messages).
• Create a calm, organized, and welcoming experience for periodontal and implant patients.
• Collaborate with doctors, clinical team, and other staff across locations.
