Job summary

Children's Dental Specialists & Adult Dentistry is seeking a Dental Scheduling & Treatment Coordinator to join our Warren/Chester, NJ team. You’ll manage provider/hygiene schedules, present treatment plans, verify insurance, and support families through the care journey.

Ideal candidates bring dental front office experience, strong communication, and a focus on efficient workflows. Hybrid pediatric/general multi-specialty exposure is a plus; Curve Dental experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous dental front office, scheduling, or treatment coordination experience preferred.
• Understanding of dental scheduling, insurance verification, and patient coordination.
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solutions-oriented and able to work independently.
• Dep`endable, professional, and team-focused.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or multi-specialty practices is a plus.
• Experience using Curve Dental software is preferred.
• Recent graduates with relevant dental office experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize provider and hygiene schedules to maximize productivity and patient access.
• Schedule new and existing patients while maintaining an efficient daily flow.
• Present treatment plans and review financial options with patients and parents.
• Follow up on unscheduled and pending treatment to support case acceptance.
• Coordinate pediatric, general dentistry, and specialty appointments.
• Verify insurance information and help patients understand their benefits and coverage.
• Monitor schedule openings, cancellations, and opportunities to improve patient access.
• Answer incoming calls and provide outstanding customer service.
• Confirm appointments and assist with recall and reactivation efforts.
• Collect patient balances and discuss financial arrangements professionally.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors, clinical team, and office leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and patient experience.
