Job summary

Rodeo Dental is seeking a qualified front office team member to support our multi-specialty dental offices. You will educate patients, schedule treatments across Pedodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery, and coordinate with referring offices to keep treatment moving smoothly.

Proficiency with dental insurance, patient communications, and practice management software is essential. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package in a fast-growing dental group.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of previous dental front office experience is required.
• Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
• Bilingual (Spanish) is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty. (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics)
• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)
• Send Pre-Authorizations
• Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)
• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit Ensure patient payments are collected at time of service.
• Ability to audit chart notes and create claims
• Ability to run end of day reports
• Assist with open and close of the office
• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
• Performs all other duties as assigned
