Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking an experienced front office professional in Texas to educate patients on treatment options and schedule multi-specialty care across pedodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role requires 1–3 years of dental front office experience with knowledge of PPOs, Medi-Cal, and CHIP. Bilingual Spanish is required; Open Dental or Dentrix experience is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsabilités

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty (pedodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics).
• Communicate treatment plans and updates with referring offices via letters and emails.
• Call in / Fax COP (change of provider) as needed.
• Send pre-authorizations and assist with payments at time of service.
• Audit chart notes and create insurance claims.
• Run end-of-day reports and assist with open/close of the office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of previous dental front office experience is required.
• Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
• Bilingual (Spanish) is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty. (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics)
• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)
• Send Pre-Authorizations
• Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)
• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit Ensure patient payments are collected at time of service.
• Ability to audit chart notes and create claims
• Ability to run end of day reports
• Assist with open and close of the office
• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
• Performs all other duties as assigned
